Keep creating.
We’ll keep checking
your links.

Weekly checks, handled for youFixes mapped to PDF pages403 / 429 never marked broken

Less checking. A clearer repair list.

From resource library
to next action.

For teacher-authors, TpT sellers and course creators who want someone to run the recurring check, rather than another tool to manage.

01 /

Send the PDFs you maintain

We extract clickable links and written web addresses, keeping the document version and PDF page number. Send a new version when you update a file.

02 /

We check, then check again

We run weekly HTTP checks. Missing-page or missing-domain failures need a confirming attempt. Blocked, rate-limited and uncertain results stay separate.

03 /

You get the repair queue

Receive a report by email, with page references, timestamps and evidence. You decide what to replace, then edit and republish your PDFs.

Inspect the work

A real run.
With its limits visible.

Open the report beside the original demonstration workbook. Follow a finding back to the source page and expand the recorded HTTP evidence.

A demonstration, not a customer success story

This original workbook includes six deliberately invented stale-looking URLs. HTTP results came from a live run on 1 November 2026 UTC, not simulated responses. Findings are historical, not a statement of current availability.

The sample is an initial baseline. It does not demonstrate customer renewals or live changes between weekly runs. A successful HTTP response also does not prove that a page contains the right teaching resource.

We aim to save you recurring extraction, checking and page-matching work. We have not measured a universal time saving.

One small, defined service

Keep the checking off your list.

  • One PDF you own or have permission to share
  • Up to 10 pages, 50 unique public URLs and 10 MB

  • The same cautious failure labels as the paid service
  • One free check per creator; five free checks total in this pilot
Request my free check

Email your PDF or a download link you control. Include “I have permission to share this file.” Please remove student data and private or signed links first.

Best suited to actively maintained libraries. A file you rarely update may only need a one-off check. Scanned or password-protected PDFs, logins, private resources and content-quality review are outside this pilot. If a file exceeds the limits, we’ll ask for a smaller version rather than silently check part of it.

Before you choose

Fair questions.

Why not just use ChatGPT or a link checker?

You can. An AI assistant can help extract URLs and page mappings, and a checker such as Dr. Link Check can check a supplied URL list. That is a credible do-it-yourself alternative. Pagekeep’s offer is to operate the repeated checks, retain your document versions and page mappings, and deliver the repair queue. Pay for that ongoing work only if it is useful to you.

What actually counts as broken?

A 404 or 410 response, or a missing destination domain, must be confirmed on a second delayed attempt. That is evidence of failure from our checker, not proof of permanent removal everywhere. A 401, 403 or 429, timeout, server error, login wall or incomplete check is unverified. We pause checks to a host when access is restricted; we do not bypass it. A changed destination is flagged for review, not automatically called broken.

Will you catch every bad link or fix my PDF?

No. We check extractable HTTP(S) links, not the educational meaning of every page. A page can return HTTP 200 and still be irrelevant or unavailable in a browser. Scanned pages, damaged text and line-wrapped URLs can prevent extraction; coverage warnings are included. Page numbers refer to the PDF viewer’s one-based pages, which may differ from printed page labels. You choose replacements, edit the source and republish.

What do I send, and how do updates work?

For a free check, email your owned or permissioned PDF or a download link you control to our support address. Paid monitoring opens soon; waitlist members will receive instructions when it opens. No marketplace or course password is needed. Please exclude student data, private URLs and access tokens. Send a replacement PDF when you publish a new version; we do not automatically fetch updates from your store. Free-check reports are due within 24 hours of acceptance. Once paid monitoring opens, the first monitoring report is due within 24 hours after we receive supported files; subsequent checks run weekly.

What if nothing changes this week?

Once paid monitoring opens, you will still receive a dated report. Monitoring may find nothing that needs fixing. The subscription covers the check and maintained source mappings, not a promised number of broken links. If the recurring check does not help your workflow, cancel before the next renewal.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

No payments are being collected while paid monitoring is on the waitlist. Once subscribed, cancel by email before your next renewal. Cancellation stops future charges; checks continue to the end of the paid month. If we cannot support your files, or miss the initial report deadline, we will refund the first payment. You may also request a full first-month refund within seven days of purchase. Later paid periods are not prorated unless required by applicable law.

Files, privacy and contact

Customer PDFs and reports are delivered privately by email attachment or a recipient-restricted link; they are never placed in this public sample folder. We retain working files and check history during your subscription, then delete our working copies within 30 days after it ends. Free-check working files are deleted within seven days of delivery. Email providers may retain their own records.

Checks send the destination URL to its website. No student data, credentials or sensitive links, please. Files are not used for AI training or submitted to an AI provider as part of this pilot. No analytics or marketing scripts are included on this page.
